Cyber Security Analyst

Role:

To become one of our Cyber Security Analysts you must have technical expertise of computer security apparatuses and have a basic knowledge of English (First Certificate Level). You must know the main threats as they are implemented, and what attack vectors are used in the majority of cases, as well as possessing a strong curiosity about cyber issues and willingness to learn new methods of work to locate, identify and mitigate attacks. You must be aware of the main threats analysis methods and be extremely respectful of the times of SLAs and the process of communication with the client, as well as knowing the main behavioral techniques to be able to act as an interface between the operations center and our branch. You must be able to work in a team and have a strong inclination to continuously learn.

Mission:

The goal of the Cyber Security Analyst is to guide clients in the development of a Defence Center (Yoroi) from a classic Security Operation Center. You'll have to learn the client's methods (typical incident response methodologies, classic environments SOC), been able to meet the current demands of a classical parallel SOC and understand the main difference between an SOC and a CSDC made by Yoroi through internal and sharing courses experiences. After the understanding of the client’s SOC, the next step will be to lead them to a more advanced system as the CSDC.

School:

A technical degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Telecommunications, ICT) or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is preferred.

  • Unix Systems (network and single hosts)
  • Microsoft Systems (network and single hosts)
  • Understand the difference between an IDS and an IPS.
  • Malware Analysis
  • SIEM management
  • Scripting using BASH

Developer

Role:

To be part of our Dev Team, you will need strong analytical and problem solving skills applied to the development of software systems used in the CSDC (Cyber Security Defence Centre). You will need to have a strong aptitude to continuously learn and be flexible on development processes, proving to be able to develop a project on your own, as well as being able to work in team. As creator of systems exposed to the outside world, you will need to learn and know how to prevent the major attack vectors against possible compromise scenarios.

Mission:

The Dev Team is responsible for creating, maintaining and updating the analysis and investigation tools in the field of cyber security and threat intelligence. As part of the Dev Team, you will need to learn the basics of analytical processes, the problems associated with cyber security and interfaces with leading external security systems , in order to provide the necessary tools with which analysts perform analysis and investigations. At the same time, you will have to keep in mind customers interfacing with our data and analysis results while developing web APIs.

School:
